LET’S LEARN TO BREATHE WITH AROMATHERAPY TO INCREASE OUR DEFENSES

Breathing well can also help increase our natural defenses in adults, children and elderly people. This way all of us can benefit from breathing properly.

Now that we spend more time than usual together, it’s an opportunity to practice something as simple as BREATHING, either alone, with children or with elderly people. Everything is valid to feel good.

Which benefits are derived from breathing properly?

1. We increase oxygenation in all organs.

2. We expand and increase our breathing capacity.

3. We help balance the hormonal system.

4. We enhance the movement of the diaphragm, which massages all internal organs, what will help us in two ways: it will improve the function of all organs receiving more oxygen and it will help us keep calm and relaxed and cope with stress caused by tension these days.

All of us already know that stress and tension can weaken the immune system, so it’s essential to learn to breathe properly in order to increase natural defenses.

Now you may be wondering… how can I do that?

Sit down on a chair or on the floor. Children can lie down on their back with their knees bent.

Play some MUSIC you like listening with your family or choose some relaxing music and let your children take part on the choice.

Turn on the diffuser or humidifier with the PHYTORESPIR blend some minutes before. You can also use ravintsara essential oil or cajeput essential oil.

1st let’s feel ABDOMINAL BREATHING: ask your children to put their hands on their belly, so that they can notice how it moves up and down while inhaling and exhaling deeply. So, inhale slowly through the nose focusing on the air that is coming into the nose and slowly fill the lungs with the air, effortless. We’ll notice how the thoracic cavity expands and then the abdomen moves up. Let air come in while counting to 6, until reaching the maximum inhalation. Then exhale slowly while counting to 6, letting air come out slowly. We can also do that counting to 3, 4 or 5 while inhaling and exhaling.

We can repeat the whole exercise from 3 to 7 times. You’ll see how this practice multiplies your energy and vitality in just a few minutes!!

How do essential oils act to increase our natural defenses?

On the one hand, when we inhale essential oils, we help clear the airways. On the other hand, when the aromatic molecules reach the pulmonary alveoli, they are able to reach the circulatory system and go into the blood. In this sense, PHYTORESPIR contains different essential oils, such as ravintsara, Eucalyptus radiata, rosemary 1,8 cineol, cajeput, niaouli, lavandin, Eucalyptus globulus, thyme linalool, mint or tea tree, which have disinfectant and antiseptic action, can help increase our defenses and provide relaxing and toning properties too.

I hope you really enjoy this special moment with your family, learning how to breathe in a conscious way with aromatherapy. It’s a valuable gift for yourself and for your family. It’s an opportunity to easily enhance your own well-being and your family’s well-being.
