Lavandin, Lavandula hybrida, is an aromatic hybrid related to lavender and spike lavender. Its essential oil is obtained from the flowers by steam distillation and forms part of the E.O.B.B.D. selection from Esential’Arôms, in which the exact botanical species, producing organ and biochemical specificity are identified. In this case, its profile is defined by linalool, linalyl acetate and camphor, components responsible for its floral, fresh and characteristic aroma. Due to its natural concentration, it must be used with caution and always diluted before cosmetic application.
