This virgin coconut oil is obtained from the first cold pressing and it is not refined, so it keeps a pleasant aroma and flavor. It contains 65% medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs, C6-C12). It is used in its raw form in recipes as a salad dressing or as an ingredient in pastries. It can be used as a substitute for hydrogenated vegetable margarines. Due to its fatty acid content, it is also used as a base for preparing cosmetics for skin and hair care.
