Ajowan, Carum copticum, is an aromatic plant whose essential oil is obtained from the fruit by steam distillation. It forms part of the E.O.B.B.D. selection from Esential’Arôms, in which the exact botanical species, producing organ and biochemical specificity of the essential oil are defined. In this case, its profile is marked by thymol and paracymene, components that give it a spicy, powerful and highly characteristic aroma. Due to its high concentration, it must be handled with caution and used only in diluted cosmetic preparations.

Cosmetic use: dilute 1 drop of essential oil per 2 ml of carrier oil in a bottle. Shake well to ensure the blend is homogenised. Then apply by performing a body massage. External use.
