Virgin hemp oil contains fatty acids of great nutritional value: linoleic acid (O-6), 55%; a-linolenic acid (vegetable O-3), 16%; oleic acid (O-9), 11%. It also contains plant sterols (ß-sitosterol, campesterol, phytol, cycloartenol) and is notable for containing natural vitamin E: ?-tocopherol, a powerful antioxidant.
