The need for care and not just medication is the idea underpinning the principles of Integrative Medicine, a new medical paradigm forged in the last decade of the last century that aims to respond to a proven fact: there is a high percentage of patients who, after visiting their doctor, seek help from professionals in the field of so-called ‘alternative medicine’.
