Benzoin, Styrax benzoin, is an aromatic oleoresin with a warm, sweet and balsamic character. Its essential oil forms part of the E.O.B.B.D. selection from Esential’Arôms, in which the exact botanical species, producing organ and biochemical specificity are identified. In this case, its profile is defined by benzoic acid and cinnamic acid, responsible for its resinous and persistent aromatic personality. Due to its natural concentration, it must be used with caution and always diluted before cosmetic application.

Cosmetic use: dilute 1 drop of essential oil per 2 ml of carrier oil in a bottle. Shake well to ensure the blend is homogenised. Then apply by performing a body massage. External use.
