Tarragon, Artemisia dracunculus, is an aromatic plant with a green, aniseed and spicy character. Its essential oil is obtained from the whole plant by steam distillation and forms part of the E.O.B.B.D. selection from Esential’Arôms, in which the exact botanical species, producing organ and biochemical specificity are identified. In this case, its profile is defined by methyl chavicol, ocimenes and limonene, components responsible for its intense, herbal and characteristic aroma. Due to its natural concentration, it must be used with caution and always diluted before cosmetic application.
